Q. Dear Hannah: I'm so confused. Why did my best friend end our friendship over something trivial? Katey

A. Katey. I know how you feel. You must know that in time this will pass. I'm just as confused as you are. I believe what my mom tells me that in time all things work out as they should. I remember one lonely cold night just lying in my bed crying my eyes out. I said to my mother when will this pain end.

She told me as I'm telling you -  there are no magic words to get past the pain. Pain is a part of life. You have to treat people right. No matter what anyone does to you do not return evil for evil. If you have apologized to your friend and she still doesn't want to be friends, then give her space. Perhaps, in time she will change her mind.
